Theo works in the plant department at Van der Plas, Elly in the packaging department at Summaflor and Theo jr. as an account manager at Summaflor.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>Theo jr.:<\/strong> “I joined the company at the same time as my father and started as an intern. After my graduation period, I got a job as an account manager and I still like this role very much!”<\/p>\nElly:<\/strong> \u201cVia my husband, I ended up at Van der Plas in August 2018. During the corona crisis in 2020, we all worked at Summaflor temporarily. Although they both work at VDP Group, the chance that they will bump into each other is small.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>Mari\u00eblle:<\/strong> “I have just started at Greenflor Rijnsburg. I work in the office there. Although I’ve been in the flower business for quite a few years already, this job is completely different, but very enjoyable!”<\/p>\nDagmar:<\/strong> “I have been working as an administrative assistant at Jack Heeringa since 2013. A lot has changed in all those years. Moving to the ‘old premises’ of Van der Plas, then the takeover by VDP Group and then the merger with Zyon. So this work is never boring!”<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>Father & Son Van der Vijver<\/h2>\n<\/div>Ruud van den Vijver (55) and Alexander van der Vijver (28) both work at Summaflor and are often compared by colleagues.
